Plot Demolition This Week

Lots going on this week.  I've been prepping all week to get ready to head up north this coming Thursday to get the plot demolition and planting done.  The fertilizer has all been purchased and loaded up.  Here's what'll get put on per acre this coming week:

500 lbs gypsum
350 lbs potash
100 lbs map
100 lbs ams

The seed blends are also set, measured, and ready to go.  This year's plot will consist of:

40% cowpeas
40% wgf sorghum
20% sunflowers
10% buckwheat
10% 82 day floury corn
10% oats
10% barley
+ pumpkins
+ squash
+ sugar snap peas (very small amount)

It's a complex blend with a complex set of goals.  I don't know if it'll work, but there's only one way to find out.  Prove it won't.

I'm also looking forward to seeing how the clethodim application to the spruces did to knock down the grass.
